Direct Deposit

Save time by having your payroll, social security, retirement, and most recurring checks directly deposited into your checking account. With direct deposit, you’ll have immediate access to your funds and the peace of mind knowing your money won’t get lost in the mail. All deposits made through direct deposit are recorded on your statement.

To begin using direct deposit for payroll checks, all you need to do is give your employer your Genisys account number and Genisys routing and transit number: 272483905

Tips for ensuring your automatic deposits and payments are made properly.

 

Checking Account

• If you have checks for your Checking Account, use the MICR Account Number shown in the sample check on the front
• If you do not have checks, please contact our Contact Center or your local branch and request a MICR number for your Checking Account
• Code the account as a Checking Account

Share Savings Account

• Use your member number for the account number
• Code the account as a Savings Account

Money Market Account

• If you have checks for your Money Market, use the MICR Account Number shown in the sample check on the front
• If you do not have checks, please contact our Contact Center or your local branch and request a MICR number for your Money Market account
• Code the account as a Savings Account

Loan Account

• Use your member number with your L-type, for example 12345678L12
• Code the account as a Loan

Please Note

• Avoid using other sub-accounts for deposits and payments. Errors are likely to occur due to the account structure. Instead, you can set up additional distributions from your main savings, checking, or money market within Online Banking o use the Mobile App to transfer funds.
• Please avoid the use of your Debit Card number for electronic payments
• Please do not include S-types in the account number (i.e., 123456 S11)
